I don't usually post on the weekends so I wanted to be sure I wished you all lots of fun with any and all Halloween festivities you've got going on this weekend!
As for me, I started it off yesterday. By carving the first pumpkin I've carved in over 15 years.
Isn't he cute??
So how about you? What fun, ghoulish activities do you have planned?
That's really impressive. I carved a pumpkin once about four years ago and it was a disaster. My BF's nine year old cousins looked like a professional did it and mine like a three year old.
No big plans. Have a Halloween Party to go to and that's about it. Halloween used to be one of my favorite holidays when I was younger but I feel like as you get older it kind of loses its luster. I think it's mainly because I miss Trick-or-Treating.
I agree with you. Halloween isn't as fun for an adult...
Though when I was in college a student organization I was in did 'Trick-or-Treating for Canned Goods.' We handed out flyers to a bunch of neighborhoods a week in advance saying we were coming by during Trick-or-Treating time and to have their canned goods ready. We dressed up, collected food for the hungry, and usually the nice people gave us some candy as well ;)
That's awesome Kelley! I could never do that. It's hubbies job. It's not a tradition in NZ or UK where we've come from. Thanks for calling by my blog :)
Awww! I love your pumpkin! I am going on a scavenger hunt for witches brew ingredients. Two other couples are on my team, and we are competing against four other teams. Should be a blast!

ReplyDeleteCute pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteI love the pumpkin! I can't carve them to save my life. I'd probably kill myself with the knife.
ReplyDeleteI left you an award on my blog :)

Thanks guys! It looks like it was more complicated then it was. :)
ReplyDeletePeggy, that scavenger hunt sounds amazing. I hope you win. :)
I hope you all have a fantastic Halloween!
And Cassie, I'll be stopping by your blog soon. Thanks for the award!
I'll be taking my daughter trick or treating - probably her last as she's getting too old for it!
ReplyDeleteTrick-Or-Treating for canned goods is an awesome idea. I really love that.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween.
