Okay, now that that is over with :)
Time for Warm Fuzzies #2:
From Juliana Brandt's website (the fabulous lady hosting this blog fest):
This week, we’ll cater to those of us who are completely possessive over our WIPs and don’t want to give anything too telling away. Instead of posting something intimate about our writing, post a picture or piece of music that describes your WIP.
What do you look to when you write? What inspires you? How else do you use your creativity? Music? Pictures? Art?
I love music. I usually write with music on that puts me in the mood of the current scene in my story. For a little fun I grabbed this picture to give a hint to what I'm writing about for NaNo.

Not too difficult to figure out I don't think. :)
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

I love that tip! What a great idea :) And I love Bones...Well...really David Boreanaz!
ReplyDeleteOoo. Me too. He's yummy :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm...are you writing about baseball? I love to have music playing too. It just gets you in the mood. Good luck with NaNo! <3
ReplyDeleteHaha. Good guess Brenda ;)
ReplyDeleteCourse its a tinsy bit more complicated then that but baseball is the background for the whole story.
I'll take a stab at it:
ReplyDeleteBaseball used to be a thing of the past. No one's played it since the accident in 2034, but Eric wants to bring it back to life.
With his father putting so much pressure on him to become a mind-reader, the million dollar profession these days, Eric discovers the mind of young Gertrude, who plays the beloved game alone in the basement of her house. She knows all the rules and fundamentals, and Eric is absolutely smitten with the concept of something so freeing.
But with baseball being so controversial, and his father being in a position of power, he must make the decision to stand with his family, or follow his heart.
I'm totally right, huh? :)
Wow! It's like you're sitting on my shoulder!
ReplyDeleteHaha. There are definitely pieces that are right...its Contemporary though. Maybe I should put in a dash of mind reading :)
I love Bones! It's nice to see Brennan being changed from the pregnancy. In a good way. It's great to see her happy!
ReplyDeleteAre you writing about someone who wants to be a baseball player but is a girl and has to face a lot of discrimination from everyone around her? including her family?
It is SO good to see her happy. Love those two together :)
ReplyDeleteOoo, good guess! The MC is actually a guy who is a real awesome baseball player.
Then one day, the ability to play is ripped away from him.
BONES!!!!! EEE!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd...
BASEBALL!! :)
I can't get past the BONES! Oh man, how I love that show. I wish Booth would marry me.
ReplyDeleteWell...he's not married to Brennen yet. Might get a little complicated, but I think you've got a good shot. Go for him Abby! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like baseball in the good ol' days to me. How fun!! :)
ReplyDeleteAmy
A serial killer that kills people with various types of baseball equipment? (yes, I do have a very twisted mind).
ReplyDeleteI've added myself as a follower. Hope you can drop by my blog :)
