Inspiration: Real short. I Promise ;)

Due to my incredibly long Monday post, I will keep this short and sweet.

I finished the March Issue of Self Magazine at the gym yesterday. First time at the gym in a little less than two weeks. But...lets not reflect on my lackluster gym attendance...

Instead, lets focus on this quote which I reached just as my stairmaster session ended:

Find Your Beauty:
We allow ourselves to appreciate the beauty of nature - flowers, whatever the length of their stem or the shape of their petals; clouds in the sky, however wispy or puffy - so why don't we treat ourselves with the same admiration? Just like every bloom, blade of grass or ray of sun, we are beautiful. Sometimes, you have to slow down long enough to let that sink in.

So today, take a moment to reflect on how beautiful you are. How special. And tell us...

What is one thing that you appreciate about yourself today?

  2. Lovely quote! I love Self magazine, though I haven't read an issue in a while. Today, since I'm hoping to get a lot of work done, I appreciate my work ethic and drive. :)

  7. Oh wow, I love that quote. In myself I appreciate my ability to be kind and giving to just about anyone. I feel very good inside when I give someone something, even if it's just my time.

So...what do you appreciate about yourself Kelley?

    1. I love how I feel when I'm nice to someone too! :)

Hmmmm, what do I appreciate about myself? Probably my optimism and my love for pretty much anything. (Which gets me in trouble because I have so many interests I have no idea what to do with myself...but it keeps life interesting :))

    2. So many interest huh? That's like me and new novel ideas. The latest ones to pop up are Biter Sisters (teenage girls who are shark people) and a novel about adults having to hide from teenagers taken over by a program that was supposed to make them behave better. Yeah and I have four self published novels to release this year excluding the one I'll be sending to an agent. Yes, I'm nuts.

I definitely feel you on optimism. I sense your happiness through your post. And keep being interesting. Bye!

  18. Ugh. Today is a tough day. But one of my favorite things about myself is that I'm an aspiring author. It takes so much hard work and determination. It also takes guts. Most people can't do it.
