It's Here!!!! The 'Got Green?' Blog Hop!

Happy St. Partick's Day everyone! I've been so excited for this blog hop. Please go check out Mark's blog here. He's the amazing Irishman living in Haiwaii running this super fun hop.

This past summer I went to the Emerald Isle with two friends. Such a wonderful vacation. I thought, since I'm only given 333 words for this post, that I would show you my experience through pictures. :) Totally cheating. Haha.

We went to the Irish House Party in Dublin. SO much fun. Highly recommend. I'm between the old man
and my friend Katie. I think I look a little worried as they teach us how to Irish Dance in front of everyone.
At the top of the Guinness Tower. The city of Dublin is behind us. I don't like beer, hence why I'm holding the
map and not a beer.
But I do like hard cider. Bulmers was my friend this whole trip.

We did LOTS of hiking.
Cathedral in Dublin.

We're at the most Western point of Ireland right now. I'm lookin' out at the good ol' US of A.

Walking through St. Stephen's Green park just
after a Summer rain.

We ate at many of these cute, small restaurants.
We like to call this our 'Album cover' picture.

Of course we can't act our age.

Ever. :)

We went seakyaking in Dingle. It is a must do.

Kayaked through some caves.

Yup. We can't just wait on the bus. Must act like fools. :)

Here we are hiking in Connemara National Park. Climbed the highest peak. Hard, but totally awesome.

To get the timer right on Katie's camera to take this picture was super hard. Haha.

Utilizing the 'Hop on, Hop off' Bus in Dublin. Definitely recommend
this too. (Notice my incredibly large eyes...this tends to happen in pictures.)

Of course it rained exactly at the time we decided to walk back to our
Dublin hotel. But it was fun nevertheless.

Yes, you are correct. We most definitely went beyond this point. But The Cliffs of Moher are really awesome
looking at them from behind this sign. ;)

We rode bikes bikes around the Aran Islands. Does anybody else get
the witch theme song in their head from the Wizard of Oz when
they see someone on a bike?

It was an amazing trip. I'd gladly go back. Of course I only get so much vacation time and there are many other
places I would like to see as well. But someday I'll go back.

  1. Hey, I saw the comment you left on my blog. Would you be interested in beta reading for me? Omar is a character who I want to be really well-liked by the end, and I would love a reader who's rooting for him.

Email me at mrhmccann(at)gmail(dot)com if you're interested. :3 I'll read anything in return, of course.

  18. What a fabulous trip, Kelley. My Europe trip was pre-digital so I can't share any of my amazing photos. I am so jealous. I did not get to go to Ireland. Everything looks amazing from your photos. I would love to go kayaking through a cave. I know you had a lovely time. It is fun to share in other peoples memorable trips. This is a fun blog hop and I enjoyed your photos and I am certain they told a more vivid story than 333 words could have. Good choice. Happy St. Patrick's day.
